A
new era in financial services
Solicitors
Financial Centres are in tune with the new era in financial services heralded
by the Financial Services Authority. The FSA announced on 14 January 2002
that, in future, financial advisers will only be able to describe themselves
as independent if they operate a new system of payment designed to prevent
commission bias. Disclosure requirements are therefore to be introduced
"to ensure that consumers are clear about the different types of
adviser available to them". The client care and administration systems
used by Solicitors Financial Centres have been designed with precisely
these aims in mind.
